Hi all!
I was wondering how VL Silvertip SB's are b/c I always wanted to own by VL. I own a Shavemac D-01 3Band in a Grosvenor handle. It is quite excellent. But how are VL silvertips compared to the Shavemac D-01 3Band? Which do you like better? If you tried both of them, which one would you automatically go for? Also the VL have come out with some sweet new handles too. Thank you very much for reading this. Looking forward to seeing your opinions. You all have a great day!

It is hard to make the comparison. It depends on how dense the Vie-Long knot is and how long of a loft it has. The Vie-Long silvertip is cloud soft but some of the models have rather tall lofts and are not packed all that densely making a somewhat "flexible" brush.
The LE silvertips that I carry are over-stuffed and have a shorter loft so that they are still cloud soft but also have good backbone.
