They're amazing!  I own the "classic barbershop", "Sublime", and "Fougere Santal".  All are fantastic performers with great scents and in my top tier.

Your title should read "The most Underrated soap going"! I hardly see anyone talk about Reef Point Soaps yet they are easily one of the best. There is some stunning scents, I particularly like Espresso. I wrote a review on this site check it out in the reviews section.

I agree. An absolutely top performer in all aspects. I have Earl Grey & Ginger, Submariner and Dragon's Blood. Love them all!

I only have Espresso, but I love it.  I normally only shave at night, but whenever I do shave in the morning, Espresso is the only soap I'll use. It smells SO good.  Has an awesome lather too.  They are for sure on my list to try more.

They have become one of my top tier soaps. Great on all counts!

I like the Peerless.

I have Test Depth - a cologne scent with jasmine, I think, and Tranquility - lavender and peppermint.
Both are excellent performers!  Certainly underrated.

I have a slightly different opinion. The Bay Rum set my face ablaze. Firedevil  The performance seemed good, but I had to abandon the soap after 1 1/2 passes.

I've tried tranquility and the more I use it, the more it grows on me. I find the soap provides a smooth slick protection on my skin.

Definitely one of the most underrated soaps on the market. I don't know why it doesn't get more praise. Also, the price is right and the scents are plentiful.

Reef Point Soaps are excellent in all aspects of performance and scent. I have the tallow versions of Submariner and Dragon's Blood, both are amazing scents. They are definitely underrated and not talked about enough!

It's lime with menthol. Smells like fresh limes to me. It's my favorite lime scent. I am on my second pick now. I will replace when this one is gone!

Sorry think you may have gotten muddled up, you have described Sublime not Submariner.

I saw Nick Shaves review on Test Depth. They were out, but I just got notification from Andy that it's back in stock. Can't wait until the arrival.

Earl Grey & Ginger is my favorite scent.  This has got to be the soap that received the most mileage from me since I got it earlier this year, just before summer begun.  Its scent is evocative and suggestive of summer.  It possesses this salty, citrusy type of scent, which reminds me of the air around me when surfacing from sea water, after a quick refreshing dive.  You can taste the salt on your lips; it lingers on your skin for a good part of time after the shave itself has ceased.

But it is not solely its scent that makes Reef Point Soaps a must-have for your den.  The soap is a great all-around performer; its post-shave feel is virtually second to none.  It leaves your face silky smooth; very similar to the type of post-shave feel a Mitchell's Wool Fat, or a Dr. Jon's, or a Shaver Heaven, or a Castle Forbes cream produce.  Ease of lathering and cushioning are, of course, generously achieved by many a soap; the blade glides as if floating in air: one can barely feel the blade against the skin. But the post-shave feel, IMHO, is where the money shot of this soap resides.  For the entire day, your face will feel like silk.  This attribute of the soap, the post-shave silkiness, will work wonders in dry climates, where it gets very cold in the winter.  The soap itself renders post-shave balms redundant.

I have ordered the maker's Dragon Blood, Peerless, and Submariner shaving soaps, if only because I feared I would somehow inundate my senses by using Earl Grey & Ginger regularly.  They are all great-performing soaps, but the Earl Grey & Ginger is my "what if you were stranded on a deserted island and could only have one soap?" type of possession.  I highly recommend the brand.

I have three soaps by Reef Point. To date, Reef Point and Cold River are my favorite artisan soap makers.

I just picked up my first Reef Point this weekend. I received Peerless. I haven't shaved with it yet, but it smells just like Cold River Soap Works Bergamot and Bay--which is to say, amazing!
