Three nice straights for sale -- all shave ready by any standard, pop hairs with ease.

Need to sell them to recoup some of the funds I spent on the M. Waterhouse I have headed over the pond right now.

If you think my prices are off, make me an offer.

1) Dubl Duck Special No. 1 w/ original scales, measured at 13/16 from top of spine to edge of blade, honed by Doc226 and an amazing razor.  It is my favorite straight that I have ever used and am selling in faith that the Waterhouse will deliver. I have not seen many of the wider Special No. 1s, but I have also only been into straights for around 3 years.  I believe it to be in great shape and an excellent shaver. Doc226 re-blued the tang to keep it like it was.

Asking $125 shipped -- drop to $110 shipped

2) Jaguar (French made) "Pour BARBES DURES" on the blade, measure just a hair below 6/8 from top of spine to edge, shave ready and pops hairs easily.  Scales are excellent and it opens and closes well.  Shaves very nicely, would make a great first straight for someone.

Asking $80 shipped -- drop to $65 shipped

3) SOLD SOLD SOLD Geo Savage & Sons XX Patent Tempred 7/8 large razor.  Shave ready and pops hairs with ease.  Purchased from a member here last week and it is a smooth, smooth shaver and a very nice, big blade.

Asking what I paid -- $100 shipped  SOLD SOLD SOLD

I have used numerous Filiarmonicas, Some of the best Japanese straights and a ton of other Solingen made and this is the best razor I have ever used for getting a somewhat effortless BBS shave with a straight!

Because someone over the pond decided to be kind and part with a M. Waterhouse custom --- I am not a wealthy man -- so to get the one Waterhouse, many of my other prizes razors need to find new homes --- this one makes no sense for me to keep since I have a 7/8 Waterhouse coming --- this Savage is a beast of a great shaver!

I see. I was wondering what you meant by Waterhouse! Of course, they are splendid and very artisanal blades indeed.
