Beautiful razor. It looks like it is in near mint condition too. I believe its a #66. To some this is the best Aristocrat.
Have fun!

Looks like a 66.  I have both the 66 and the 21 somewhere in the collection, and they are both just absolutely superb DE razors.   If put to it, I would certainly rank them as the best of the Gillette-type butterfly razors ever made.  The English Gillettes also have that fabulous Rhodium plating, as original.  Major advice:  keep the razor as it is -- don't replate it.   Outstanding shaving:  if memory serves me right, a medium aggressive shave, with great comfort.

Thank you all! I am looking forward to getting my hands on that hot little number. Should be here within two weeks tops. I will then post more photos. That one is from the auction listing. I will keep you all posted.

Great looking razor!  I'd be interested to know what other razors you have, and how it compares.

I have, in a rather short period of time acquired quite a few razors. When I get the chance to shave with the newest, I will be certain to let you all know. Here is what I have so far:

1964 Gillette Slim - great shaver, set it to 8 and forget about it
1932 Canadian Tech Ball end - mild razor, but I get a DFS with two passes
3 x NEW LC - one of which is near mint, the other has as good as you can get to mint head but with a frankenhandle, the other UG. All Good shavers
2 x NEW SC - pne with the common bar handle and case which is near mint, the other VGC with ballend handle. Both shave GREAT
1 x Parker A1R (my first DE since returning to wet shaving) -  aggressive little bugger, but ya get a BBS with two passes, though one must be careful lest the little bugger bite you!
Gillete Rocket HD - awesome razor, DFS with two passes

Unfortunately, as I am out on the Wet Coast of canada, it will likely take 2 weeks for the new razor to arrive. You can all rest well assured that as soon as ti does, I will be posting more photos of it, and provide a nice report on its performance.

The case is in a very good shape as well. Looks like the razor saw very little use. Good find!
