I have now been shaving daily with Razorock P.160 for about 5 weeks. What a nice soap. It is an Italian style "soft" soap. It lathersd beautifully, and has a wonderful scent of marzipan. Even if it were twice as expensive as it currently is (and it is pretty cheap at less than 10 bucks) it would be a great deal.

Glad to hear you like it. It is a great soap!

I've got a tub of it myself. I wasn't too impressed by it so I took my cella and mixed them 50/50 smells the same and works wonders.

Interesting review. I am glad you enjoy it. I found the scent to be more a cherry/almond scent rather than a marzipan (Cella) scent. I only used it a few times and it turns out I was allergic to something in it. I found RazoRock ABCBA to be the same scent without the allergic reaction. Unfortunately it was an LE sort of thing and I do not see it coming back.

I just ordered it. I hope I don't get any skin reaction.

I loved the smell but had a bad reaction to something in it.  Ended up with a low grade burning sensation that went away fairly quickly.

I used it about 5 times before I PIF to a friend.

Yep.. Same type of reaction here. CB's  LPV was the same thing.

Love the scent, but my skin didn't love it.

I love RR P.160.  Excellent performance at a great price.

I use RR P160 as a pre-shave stick.  In spite of its hype I thought it is just OK as a shaving soap.  Frankly, I don't know why anyone would prefer it over  Cella, Vito's or Valobra.

Is Cella better than P.160?

It's all a matter of opinion I guess. I prefer it over cella. I think the original P.160 was the best.

Same price as Cella and, more importantly, Saponeria Artigiana. If it were my money, I'd go with SA over Cella or Razorock.

In fact, I did. And then I realized I'm allergic to sweet almond oil  Rolleyes

My skin also does not like the sweet almond oil. My face was on fire after using P.160 soap and aftershave. In all seriousness, it was incredibly painful. Oddly enough it's the only product(s) I've ever had a bad reaction too. Kudos to those who can use it!

Is the P.160 the same as the R-160?  I have 4 of the R-160 that are in the smaller half-dome containers. Don't want to go out and get some P.160 if its the same.
