I was cruising the 'Bay of Fleas' and found a 32mm WSP HMW knot that was mounted in a cheesy Chambord bottle-top handle, bought it at a great price but I wasn't happy with the handle.

I saw the post Boonie21 made regarding his new 'P-hive' brush.  http://shavenook.com/showthread.php?tid=34645
I approached Brad Sears regarding my problem with my knot and he said that he may have some faux ivory stock that would accomodate a knot of that girth using that handle design.
Well, today I received my new brush from Brad Sears.
I thought it would be called a P-hive but Brad decided to name it the "Gonzo-30" on the certificate.
Here it is next to a Paladin PK-47 for scale.  Impressive!

Hold Christ, that is a massive brush. I wonder how it stands up next to the Brad Sears Beehive in Mesquite

Great handle!
It is amazing in shape. I wonder if wood would have been better for weight/balance,  this will outlast any wooden handle though. Would have done the same. It sure needs some power wielding Smile

Added 'post-bloom' pic.  It's a face-full that's for certain.  I need to upgrade my lather bowl to a salad bowl. Biggrin

Wonderful piece of craftsmanship. Without knowing its size that looks very comfortable!
It looks almost like the giant Rooney display brushes next to the PK47.
