Here are pictures of the 30mm WHIPPED DOG on the WOLF WHISKER PJ2 handle IRON THRONE color. I included my other Wolf Whiskers 24mm synthetic evolution color, and my Grooming Company synthetic which I believe is 24 or 25mm white handle for comparison. I have not used the 30mm WW yet as I just got it today but I can't wait.

That is a beautiful pair of Wolf Whiskers brushes.  Let us know how that 30mm Whipped Dog synthetic knot performs.  I have the 24mm Whpiped Dog synthetic knot and it is outstanding.

Unfortunately haven't used yet!! I had to go to the dermatologists office the other day and have a spot nitrogen removed. So I have to let my face heal up before I can shave again. Sad

Yes it is the Chiseled face fauxmere fibre knot. Should be picking it up today, it's stuck at ye post office.

Looking forward to your thoughts on the 30mm knot when you come around to using it.

I've got a 24mm and 28mm CF Fauxmere set in Whipped Dog handles I've been using for the past week, both set at the standard loft (56mm and 55mm respectively).  The 24mm is very similar to a standard Plisson, however it feels slightly more dense given the 24mm knot.  It is still a softer knot and splays easily.  The 28mm knot is very dense and takes quite a bit of force to get it to splay and keep it splayed, but if you want a scrubbier brush with the luxury of the Plisson fibers this might be for you.  I personally think the 24mm knot set at a loft around 54mm would probably be ideal for me.  I have a few other synthetic knots I need to set and play around with before I decide which I prefer most.  I'm enjoying the 24mm fauxmere and 24mm Whipped Dog knots the best right now.

Thanks Molon_labe, good to hear you are enjoying the brushes. It's great that there are so many options with knot size in the plisson type fibres.
