Hello everyone.

I am a fan of light citrus scents. I have L'Orange Noir, which I do like, but I am seeking something with a more prominent citrus note in and A/S Splash. I also want something that will last. Any ideas? While I tend to favour oranges, I am not averse to limes either, and would welcome recommendations for both.

Currently, my go to splashes are:

Clubman Classic Vanilla
Fine L'Orange Noir
Fine American Blend
Clubman Special Reserve
Lucky Tiger Tonic

Looking to compliment my collection.

I'll throw in 2 more that I really like. Through the Fire Fine Craft Ignite and Taylor of Old Bond St Victorian Limes. I'll look when I get home to see if I have any more recommendations.

Cold River Soap Works Jardin d'Orange Splash is wonderful!

Perfect for a hot summer day, this fragrance opens unapologetically with a blast of tart orange and settles quickly into a citrus blend of lemon zest and juicy mandarin. A green accord develops to reveal notes rich with a woodsy earthiness, like a walk through a blossoming orange grove.

Clubman citrus  musk-not much musk, but there is lime and a drydown into lime and crisp linen scents, very nice with good longevity.
Avon Island Lime-discontinued but can be stumbled across in thrift and antique stores.
Russian Triple cologne-lemon,bergamot,neroli,mint and lavender. An old czar era classic that has become the poor mans cologne,Strong lemon out of the bottle that morphs into a citrus-floral  soapy scent.Fairly straight forward scent that is not for everyone.Actually reminds me of some caswell-massey soap I used to have.
Old Spice Lime-thrift stores for old stock or the net for new Indian production.

my budget recommendations

I almost bought some of this not long ago but decided against it in the end. How is this stuff? Does the scent linger?

Yes - it smells just like orange creamsicle and it lingers for awhile. I like it.

+1 on the Island Lime, Old Spice Lime, and the Citrus Musk. Give Clubman Lime Sec a try as well.

DRH Arlington is citrus based.
I enjoy it but it burns off pretty quickly.

Shambala is the king of citrus in my opinion. Also, if you can find, it Le Grand Chypre by Barrister and Mann is amazing as well.
