I know there are quite a few of us on the Nook and was wondering if at some point, we might all get together and swap stuff, tell stories, and plot on how we're going to get all of Johnny's Semogues (since Ben and his badger collection would be too far away in Australia). I think we could do it in Nash Vegas if anyone would be up for it. I think (and if I leave anyone out I apologize), here's a list from memory

Me
SharpSpine (Brian)
Daccpa (Duane)
Cyanide Metal (Randy)
Paisley E
Wimcad (William)
GIJames
Milemarker60

And anyone else around TN or from anywhere would be welcome as well (except Johnny since we're planning a Semogue Snatch). If I left anyone out I apologize.

Sounds like fun, when do you want to start this inaugural convention of the Tennessee Wet Shavers (TWS).

As for a date, I have no idea. Probably a Saturday or Sunday during the day? I'm 38 but feel about 90 so Pappaw would have to drive back to Union County to get his beauty sleep.

In the Nashville area there is no better BBQ than Martin's BBQ, just south of Nashville.

Down in Memphis, the home of Blues & BBQ, we have a bunch of great BBQ, The Rendezvous, Neely's BBQ, & Corkys, just to name a few...

I should have taken pictures of your packaging skills to show at the get-together Dave. I am afraid that the group might think that we are starting a story telling convention if I simply describe it.

Bill,
You can confiscate my Floid Blue. It's listed on the Nook BST forum. Wink I must be one of the few it doesn't agree with from all the great reviews I read before ordering.

well now! that would have to be here in Memphis area!!! but, swine is the more popular meat in this part of the USA... brisket is more polished from Texas, in my opinion... of course there are places in Memphis that do several meats... just sayin' - brisket more of a Texas thang!

btw Greg, if you go to San Antonio, TX ... check out the Rudy's Bar-B-Q, off the north-side loop. Very country-store looking , but AWESOME grub!
Biggrin

hehe, I know that Nashville would be cool with me to meet you guys.

I would have nothing to offer, other than a round of bier and listening to yall. Smile

,and as always... it depends on my family's schedule first!!! Tongue

I say let us all march on Washington and Demand an end to RAD and BAD and VBAD and SCAD...etc..we need help...we should be compensated for our disorder. When we are all rounded up we can dine out and drink up in Federal Prison or perhaps the Federal RAD Lockup...let us get Obama shaving like a man ....or Romney..in fact all of them..we can then solve the national debt with just one march and drinking fest !!!!! All rise to RAD..for the cause...yey men..we shall overcome !!!!CoolBiggrinConfusedRolleyesLightbulbTongue

West TN has the best in-hog pulled BBQ I've ever eaten (with hot sauce and slaw). The best way to find a good place is look for a shack on the side of a country dirt road that you would never in your life stop and go into. That's the place.Tongue
