Hello

Everybody I want to buy a special brush FL I have a cocobolo 26MM Thater and would like a more prestigious Badger ( 28MM )

What brand do you recommend ?? 2 strips

Because I can not find simpsons chubby 2 into 2 strips .. there are only 3 band.

What is the BEST mark compared to shavemac simpsons and Thater ?

Budget 270 euros .

Thanks

PS: My brush

New Shavemac Silvertip 2-Band; strong backbone with extremely soft tips and they are your neighbour, so the shipping will be quick and affordable. Shy

What bothers me is that simpsons only supports ' pinceautage '

Shavemac is cheaper so I'll customize it by setting 28MM but the other I do not know ??

Choose the size of the knot (mm): 28

AND

Choose the hair length (mm): 54, 56 or 58 ???????      and can we customiser in Americana ???

Merci  Smile love big brush

Pierre, if you are getting a 28mm knot in the new Shavemac Silvertip 2-Band, I would go with a loft of 50-52mm for a Fan and 52-54mm for a Bulb, depending on how much backbone you like in a knot.
I believe if you contact Bernd, he can help you with choosing an appropriate handle.
Good luck.

Excellent choice! One day you might want to try it in a fan shape.

As an example, a Thater brush 4125/2 26mm by 55mm fan shape would cover a lot of surface!

As I had mentioned in my previous post, I would go with 54mm if you are getting the 28mm Bulb in the Silvertip 2-Band hair. This should provide you with plenty of backbone and the knot won't feel as large as your Thater 26mm as the Thater is not as dense as the Shavemac knot will be and, thusly, will splay more than the Shavemac.
Good luck.

Could not have said it better.

I just received say 2-Band Silvertip from Shavemac in 28 mm knot size with a 54 mm loft in a slightly pointy bulb.
If you wish for a more round bulb shaped knot and still want backbone, perhaps go down to a loft of 52 mm.

I also own a fan 2-Band Silvertip from Shavemac in 27 mm knot size, that has a 52 mm loft.

Finally my travel brush is a 2-Band Silvertip 24 mm Shavemac in 55 mm loft with a wide soft bulb - the taller loft and bigger rounder bulb for it to dry faster and need less soaking in water before usage.
