My apologies if this has been discussed already....

I was traveling this week and brought my 1968 Super Adjustable with a fresh Nacet Platinum. They were a freebie when I was at the West Coast Shaving Store a few weeks ago.

First shave was on. Second shave sucked! This threw me for a loop because I'd had great results at home with Nacets.

When I got home, I noticed that the Nacets I liked were Nacet stainless. Wouldn't you think the Platinums would be better?

I would have thought the same, but when I was looking these up a while back I think everyone else had a similar experience as you did: the stainless is the better blade.  I THINK that's what I remember.

So many blades they all start to run togehter

Completely agree. I just checked and know that I have some Nacet SS. Decent blades. I am almost positive I have tried the platinum but don't have any, can't really remember and it is just as likely I made it up. Can't keep track. Smile
