This is a great idea Aldo, gives everyone who wants one the opportunity to reserve a brush, might take some time to get the brush but at least  we know we'll eventually get it.

This is a good idea Aldo, as it brings order and fairness to the process of purchasing one of your brushes.  I'm on the list for a Ranger.

Aldo read my mind. This seems like an equitable, and fun, way to distribute "The Varlets"...

Really?  Other vendors ship badger brushes outside the U.S.  I don't think that is the reason.

I believe manufacturers need to have some kind of license with US fish and game who will inspect every animal hair product that leaves the USA.

I'm not sure if this inspection limitation applies to VENDORS, only manufactures.

Shipping badger out of the US in any fashion needs to be claimed with US Fish and Game, because it is a protected animal in the US. Doing so makes shipping costs exorbitant and unrealistic which is why most vendors will not offer this. It is not a problem for badger products coming into the US, however.

Any information about the wait time on the reserve list?  Has anyone received a brush from the list recently?  I signed up for a beehive right around the time Aldo first announced it. Now I've been thinking of getting a Shavemac, but have been waiting to see whether a Varlet will be forthcoming soon before moving on.
