I've always wanted to try one of the parker razors. There is not much talk about them in the forums, and from what I understand it's a best seller among the vendors. I decided to pull the trigger on the new Parker 92r. I think it's a new model for this year.
I think the Parker 92R. Has a nice finish, for sure it's heavy. The construction seems to be very good as well. I would say that the plating is on par with Merkur. The handle is easy to hold no slipping issues at all. I would say that the 92R. is very mild, I would recommend this razor to anyone just starting out, or have sensitive skin. I did notice that in order to get an effective shave with this razor you have to apply thin lather. If you make it too thick it will not effectively cut your wiskers.
I give it my stamp of approval.

Nice pick up Mynorx. A lot of people like to dog parker razors, but I started out on a 22R and rather enjoyed it. I haven't used it in a while, but it is a razor that I like to recommend to those starting out and have included it in a starter kit that I have been putting together.

I have a 92R heavyweight that I couldn't get a good shave with. I think I ranted about it here somewhere. The knurled nut was backing off and allowing the blade to loosen and chatter, so of course not a very good shave.
I picked up The Parker 26C OC from Phil and it gives a very nice smooth shave with a Voskhod in it. You may want to check it out. It's my travel razor because my 1912 is not allowed outside.
