I thought we might take a moment together to review the week's insights. We now know there are cognitive influences in our shaving choices.
The cosmetic self destruction of aftershave labels  can cause great angst. We still talk about flipping, honing on wine bottles, using pyramid power to extend blade life on the cheapest cost per unit item in shaving- or will someone start measuring actual soap weight per lather and compute cost per shave there? Those 4 wax dots? I never cared until someone made it an issue. I am saving mine with the goal of someday sculpting a candle bust of Phil as present. There is this pernicious germ phobia. If you post a buy, sell, trade photo of a razor resting on a cat, or
autoclave, soak in alcohol, subject to boiling ( triple distilled) water and cryogenic emersion before shipping the recipient will still subject the item to the same regimen or pass because you photographed it on your cat. Products are discontinued or reformulated. The happy few owners decide to sell, make a killing and people resent it. No matter the stuff often sat on our wish lists at less price as we cavalierly assumed in that world of discontinued or reformulated product they would remain available.
Well, that's my quick recap.  my computer access is real tenuous. I have been catching up on so many posts I-----haven't shaved yet Blush
