Who knows, I guess the stars just aligned as I had a great shave with my meager travel setup. Only had a backpack to carry on the plane so I brought as little as possible. Nice surprise:
Bic
LASS brush

Awesome!  I have one of those little LASS brushes.  I was surprised how soft and good it is.

I remember making fun if it when I got it.  I thought it was a joke, but is not, it works.

Lol, it could pass for one, but it does create a nice lather.

I keep hearing good things about those big sensitives (I think they are)
Maybe I should try it when I am traveling.

I used mach 3, I get a decent shave, nothing to write home about, but decent.

Same here, but really made a nice lather and dries quickly.

They use special reserve collection squirrel hair for those LASS brushes. Giving goat a run for the money.

Brushes made from squirrels native to oak forests are the best. When the hair tips split, they release a soft nutty aroma.  My squirrel is the only brush I will use when I shave with my Reef Point Espresso.

One of the kindergarten classes in my school has a new pet bunny. Don't think I wasn't eyeballing li'l Bugs' thick and luxurious coat...

I've never used a BiC Sensitive, but I found the regular disposables and DE blades kind of tuggy. I'll have to give them a shot though, as the Schick Slim Twin I took on my last trip wasn't great.
