I have cut myself with my razor a strangely large number of times recently. (3 times it the last month)
I realized I never cut myself when I'm actually making a shaving stroke. It happens when I'm getting ready to. Last night I gave myself a pretty nasty cut by placing the razor on my face gently. Obviously I must have done something different from the 50 other strokes I made last night, but I have no idea what it was.

For me it's usually on my neck a couple of inches down from the ear. And usually on the cross-face side. I rarely cut myself on the right, though I am more prone to weepers there.
