This may be an apples to oranges comparison but I just saw in the business section that an annual season pass to Disneyland is now $1049. Back in 1984 when I was in high school, a season pass to Six Flags in the Chicago area was $45.00. How's that for inflation!!

as I remember, the Six Flags in NJ offered a discount on that if you brought an empty Coca Cola can.

Shame on Disney. Inflation? That's thievery! What amazes me is that they're able to get away with it.

Agreed...I almost fell over when I saw the figure. If you want the "Premier Pass" with no black out dates, it is $1439.00 according to the L.A. Times.

they said now they will be doing away with the no blackout dates pass as well as doing a fluctuating daily price based on how many people are actually there. my neighbor and his wife and three kids have the unlimited passes to disney and its insane what they pay... just under 6500 or so per year based on when they signed up...
