Gents :

whats your favorite shaving brush, that one that you will take to an desert island or wish to keep forever?.Or whats the brush you let it go and now you are regretting it?

Ok,as Im typing this,I cant think of only one brush,so lets say, your favorite 3 shaving brushes, doesnt matter if they are boar, badger, horse or synthetic.

My list :

1.Semogue LE 2010.
2.Vie Long 20mm silvertip
3.Rooney 1/1 silvertip

and I do regret selling some brushes like a Simpson Duke 2 and Commodore X1,which were perfect for face lathering.

What about you,gents?

My List:

Semogue SOC 2-Band badger
Semogue 1305

I'm quite pleased with all the brushes I currently own, really, but those two really stand out.

1. Muhle 21mm Kosmo Brush (which Ridgerunner has).
2. Muhle Black Fibres (which Yohann has)
3. Frank Shaving Synthetic (which I have)

The one brush I regret giving up was my Simpsons Colonel. I miss that brush terribly. The handle and knot were perfect.

Granted I only have a small handful of brushes, but...

My best brush performance wise is my Vie-Long 14033 mixed horse-badger.
My favourite brush is my Turkish No6 though... just love that cheap horse hair Biggrin

I'm pretty sure it's this one.
A Simpson 57 2 band. The limited edition " Douglas".

I seem to reach for it unless I take time to think which of the other two dozen brushes might be a better choice.

The number choice is a vintage Kent KS5 reknotted with TGN Finest.

I made this one, and regret selling it. The antler was easy to grip and the knot was very attractive.
