Both just arrived via USPS a few hours ago (even though tracking said they were still stranded in customs), the chubby 2 is in manchurian/faux Italian marble and the Shavemac Anericana was requested in silvertip 2-band fan (seems almost like a Hybrid knot which I like) with a 49mm loft, the base of the knot measures in at 24.60 mm on my digital calipers.

The knots and handles on both these brushes look just prefect to me and knots have no glue bumps, or flaws of any kind. The handle on the chubby 2 is just stunning in person.

Will give these a test drive in a few days, update my findings, and post some post bloom pics if I have the time.

I'm not a photographer by any means, please excuse the bad lighting and lack of quality in the cell phone picture.

I would not be jealous.

I prefer the Duke 3 to the Ch2 by a strong margin.  The handle of the Duke is a better fit to my hand.

I was only joking a bit - I do prefer the Chubby 3/2 handles because I have larger hands, the Duke 3 is a bit too slim for my hands, but after first bashing Ben74's purchase of the Duke 3 Faux Italian Marble brush, of course I realized I was mistaken and took one of my well known 180 degrees turnarounds and bought it the week after  Blush

I've been badgering Ken for a Falstaff in Butterscotch Marble... Sad  Not enough people wanted that material to justify purchasing more of it.

Wow, can't believe that. The pics I've seen of his butterscotch marble looked beautiful.
