anyone have an issue with synthetics shedding? i have a white sating tip that seems to loose somewhere between 3-6 fibers per shave now. used it three times so far and every time it looses fibers. i have never had a synthetic loose more then maybe 1 or 2 fibers.

I have used my white Satin Tip for almost 3 weeks and have noticed only one fiber to become loose. I think it was due to using hot water instead of warm...on the other end, my silver tip badger brush sheds the way your brush does.

I have the black tip version - very little shedding but, I have experienced a loose strand or two.

I have had two black ones and have a white one as well. None of them lost a single hair during use. Actually just got done using the black one and didn't lose any hairs. One of the black ones did lose all of its hairs when I removed the knot to see if I could transplant it. Those brushes don't use a traditional glue plug so I could see how you could get a dud. I would contact the vendor and see if they will swap it. This is what the knot looks like.
