Johnny,
I opened up the factory on our week off for a guy off the TSR (English based wetshaving forum). He was on the Island for TT week - motorcycling festival.
I swear his jaw dropped to the floor, proper kid in a sweetshop face.
Couldn't help himself - wanted everything!!!

Absolutely beautiful brush, thanks for sharing!
The M7 handle, IMO combines the best elements of the Tulip and Emperor shapes. It's comfortable, functional and aesthetically stunning.
I have the M7 in 2 band and both the light and dark GYLE. As much as I'd love to, I don't think I can add a Manchurian M7 to the stable...
But your photos are definitely making me question it...

Well, we are just about to turn ground on the construction of a new purpose built factory for our headquarters.
All being well, we will be in early 2013 and factory visits will be most welcome.
In fact, I'm thinking a tour "take your brush through production" would be a cool idea, if a little unpractical.

PS - The Isle of Man is worth the visit alone.

The quality of the manchurian badger hair is unique. I own two Simpson brushes with the manchurian badger and they are different than the other Simpson brushes in my den. They provide a hint of scruffiness with a soft feeling different from the silvertip. They both offer very good flow through and backbone. A superb grade of badger.

I have the Gary Young M7 LE with the finest silvertip, it's quickly turning in to my favourite brush, I must also give Mark and Simpson a little mention Mark and I spoke several times over the phone and i cannot praise the company and their customer service highly enough, for me they are the bench mark of any brush manufacturer to be found today.
