I was searching for the Sunrise synthetic knot and ran across PAV Brushworks. They use Sunrise knots on their brushes. I started browsing and they make some beautiful brushes, razors, pens, and pipe stampers. Anyone own anything from PAV?

I have one of his older brushes with a TGN 2 band finest knot. Its a nice handle, very well made.
Scott had taken a break from brush making sometime late last year or early this year and has recently started up again. He's been a gentleman in our correspondance and makes very nice brushes.

Thank you to both of you for responding. I really like his work and some of his brushes remind me of WW. He has some very nice looking razor handles too.

Scott is a great guy and makes beautiful shaving brushes, pens and pipe tampers. He turns acrylic and wood and uses an assortment of badger and synthetic knots for his brushes. I own several PAV brushes and they are all very well made.

I had one of his brushes for a while, it was very well made and the knot was a TGN Finest I believe. It was freakishly dense though, like way more dense than anything else I've had from TGN. I eventually sold it due to size, it was a bit too large for my tastes. No complaints though, and I'm giving his pipe tampers a look!
