my place is starting to come together. i found a nice little mid-century modern-esque china cabinet in an antique store here and thought it would be perfect for my shaving hardware and a few bottles that i'm proud of. here's the whole cabinet:

and a close-up of the shelves:

looking forward to getting everything unpacked and i'm ecstatic to have a way to display it all!

Congrats

the ones to the right are my flacons that i've decanted into... more airtight bottles, lol.

all but three of those bottles on the left are the "vaulted" eau de toilettes.

thanks, everyone!

there are a decent number of large decants (30ml and up) in the drawer of the cabinet, too. and loads of smaller decants that need to be unearthed.

Great den, Eric  Thumbup

I especially enjoy your frags, how many Creeds do you have ?
Personally I'm stuck at 15 full bottles...............of Creed  Wink

Is that DIPTYQUE Tam Dao, Volutes or Philosykos ?

By the way, LOVE to see the Kouros, my favorite frag back in the 80's when I was a young teen  Biggrin
Still enjoy it, but with 460+ frags, only get to do it once a year.....or so

Love that Ambre Narguillés.

You seem to have amassed quite a few thousands of one particular DE razor blade, Feather or Polsilver Iridium ?

Love seeing your den, man !

What do you do to keep lights and heat away from the frags ?
I have my frags in 5 huge drawers (90 in each drawer circa) and they are stored away from light and heat that way.

i have philosykos, a large tam dao edt and the edp. couple other ones as well, eau lente and i can't think of the other two.

that kouros is a bottle from the 80s, cost me a pretty penny but i love it. takes me back to my youth when my father used to use it. i have a bottle of the eau de sport, too.

as far as the creeds go, the older ones are some of my absolute favorites. full bottles (on the left):

royal scottish lavender
ambre canelle
erolfa
royal english leather
original vetiver
vetiver 1948
orange spice
citrus bigarrade
baie de genevre (LOOVE)
bois du portugal
green valley
chevrefuille original

decanted flacons (on the right):

santal imperiale (from a green flacon)
millesime imperiale
selction verte (green flacon)
aventus
bois de santal (all time favorite, green flacon)
windsor (second release)
green valley
500ml green irish tweed (daily driver)
guerlain vetiver edc (bee bottle from the 80s)

large deccants:

~75ml of cypres musc (incredible)
~120ml of cuir de russe
100ml fuille verte (2nd release from a couple years ago)
~60ml of angelique encens
~60 sublime vanille

yep!

interesting story on that one. luis from the creed boutique told me that when the nordstrom opened in nashville, they'd have a creed counter. i went on opening day and had a look around. looked through the testers, and i'll be damned:

a pristine bottle of vetiver 48!

i asked immediately for them to sell it to me, they told me they'd have to clear it with the boss. he told me that if i buy something from them, they'd give it to me for free. one flacon of green irish tweed later, i'm on my way home with my daily driver and something i skipped over foolishly before. happy, happy man Smile

You're doing it right. If you are going to invest in a quality collection like this, it really should be displayed this nicely.

What's up with the rod stock? Are you going to send them to an artisan for custom brushes, or are you trying to turn something yourself?
