Title says it all have a batch 3 Razorock Black Mamba. Razor is in perfect condition and has been used twice by me. RAZOR IS NOT FOR SALE PLEASE DON'T ASK. Only looking for a Wolfman Razor PLEASE don't ask if I'd be interested in another razor I'm not. Not being rude just letting you know what I'm looking for.

It's a smooth shaver, very very smooth. It is a mild razor but it gives a good shave. Im tired of wanting a wolfman and this is the only way I'm gonna get one for the time being.

It is, I think it may be 10 dollars, just posted it in case it was an issue for anybody. I'm not going to say this razor is worth more than what I paid you know.

Absolutely, I think your right on. if anything, down the road the mamba may end up being a rarer piece. They are both unobtaniums at this point though

I'm going to toss a blade in it and try and get some pics of it. I have yet to see any pictures that show blade exposure and gap.

I cant blame you for trying.  I might try to do the same because i decided mamba is too mild (my second try)

Good luck man!

Second shave was closer than the first for me, I just had to keep a the angle steep (handle nearly parallel to face). I'm used to shallow angles and your right it is so smooth no disputing that. I can't hear or feel it cutting. IMO the bamboo handle on these is so much better than the oss . It's balance is spot on with the bamboo, not so much with the oss. The wolfman is something I gotta try. I looked this morning and nearly posted my Mongoose instead of the mamba. I just can't part with my goose though.

I am gonna try shimming it as someone said it helps a lot with efficiency.

I hate doing extra stuff likr that, but mamba is just so smooth that if i shim it and get great smooth shaves, i wouldnt mind putting one.

I'm the same way, the goose rules my roost! Shaves closest, quickest and smoothest. Wolf man is very close to being as smooth but takes more passes to get as close

Edit: I can also finish with ATG with just water for the  mongoose, can't do that very well with any DE razors. I think this just comes down to the blades though

I am thinking blade rigidity helps with that. Mongoose / cobra feels great on the face/neck.

This is a good trade Justin- I think you'll get a bite just will take some traffic and a few friendly bumps Wink

I do think the BM is more efficient than mild which I think is a meaningful difference but also, as I mentioned in some other thread, do use a steeper angle than some of my other razors.

I get very close shave with the Mamba and it doesn't bite!

GLWTT!

Yeah, somewhat similar to what I use with ATT [steep as in blade angle too to avoid confusion]. Seems the sweetspot for me and I really get great, lasting shaves. Most noticeable for me is in the neck area where it shines- I have been using my Shavecraft 101 head this week, which I also like but already today after a 3x pass shave this morning, I have some serious stubble and it's just 3p local.

The Mamba keeps me smooth as a toddler if not baby through to the evening.

Let me know what you think!

Joe told me the razor was designed to shave at a 40 degree angle. Thing is on my face it's so smooth you can't feel it cutting and you can't hear it. It is the smoothest razor I've ever used period. I have no problem keeping it I just wanted to a try a wolfman and thought the BM was my ticket.

Hm.  When i shave,  i get very loud feedback.  Thats opposite from what you are experiencing.
