We've seen your Shavemacs, we've seen your Simpson's, now let's see your Rooneys! In the spirit of Claus' threads, giving us a chance to show off a few of our most prized brushes I start this thread.
I want to see your Rooney brushes.  I do not have much experience with the new versions (once upon a time I tried a style 1 size 3 but my brother in-law absconded with it) but feel welcome to show off any of your Rooneys no matter what version or hair type they are.

Here are a few of my most prized brushes:
Stubby 2 with 3-band Heritage hair & Stubby 2XL with 3-band Heritage hair

Got to love the Rooney Beehive Jason!  I have heard of a few people reporting that they have Beehives with gel-tips, but I have never seen one in person or in a photograph.  It is definitely a lovely design and a gel-tip version would be sublime!

I dream of it. At this point I would take any gel-tip version with the dream of getting a beehive someday. Then I see a beautiful collection like you have and I can't think of the unnatural things I would do for a collection like that. You are a lucky or patient man.

Lovely brushes, gentlemen!

I only have one left, an older 1XL Heritage 2-Band that is being reserved for my son.

Beautiful Rooney's, Gentlemen  Badger

I sold all my 6 Rooney's - either the knot did not suit me or the knot was fantastic, but the handle too small for my hands.

Thanks Claus!  I remember a picture of yours showing an ivory 3XL with a tortoise belt that I always thought looked pretty amazing.  I'd love to find one of those some day.

Nathan,

that's an M&F 3XL Blonde Badger, and I still own it:

A true beauty! You very rarely see this style brush.  Is it a 3XL or a 2XL?  Enjoy it Claus!

I can understand the sadness, if I'm not mistaken, that is a 1/1 finest that I have heard rumored that there were only about a dozen or so ever made. Was that one labeled Rooney or M & F?

it's a 3XL M&F BB 2-Band.

I can take a picture of it next to one of my 2XL's, and you'll see the difference, Nathan.

I am looking for Rooney brush and in my studies I see the Heritage. Is that the hair type to buy?
