Hello Gents,

Recently bought a LASS BBS-1 for the second time Smile I find I still really don't enjoy it, seems to be a bit harsh on my neck. Anyway I'm wondering if the Wolfman SB shaves any different. Anyone tried both?

WR1-SB is pretty different. Honestly, it's probably worth trying if you're having irritation with the BBS-1.

BTW, how'd you manage two BBS-1's? I though I was the only one that crazy. Smile

they do for me, absolutely. i love the bbs-1, though. it's ruthlessly efficient and easy on my neck. the wr1-sb is more comfortable but i find it not as efficacious.

Thanks for the info, the BBS-1 is a beauty and reminds me a lot of the Barbasol Floating Head.

I'm surprised you buy expensive razors considering how nice your are. That's neat though that you still enjoy trying others.

My thoughts as well. And I do own a backup BBS-1! Definitely shave differently so give it a shot. I might be one of the only members that prefers the Wolfman OC to the SB.

Well I must admit that I didn't like the OC as much as the SB and was planning on trading it (tried for a BBS-1 but no luck), however after I decided to keep it I kept shaving with it and I like the OC more and more.

I just paid for my BBS-1 and I could not be more excited! I am waiting patiently for my third Wolfman so, life is great!

I only have experience with Wolfman razors and they are at the pinnacle of what is possible today for DE razors imho!

Btw - I use several Triad and UFO handles for my two Wolman razors. I traded an aluminum version of Wolfman and now wish I would have hung on to it but, I like the stainless steel's heaviness.

Hi Otis375!

I was on the list for quite some time (after missing the last two rounds). Mr. John Brown sent me a notification I was on the list and then about a two months later (today) I received an email and my paypal invoice which I paid as fast as possible lol!

LA Shaving Soap is an awesome business to buy from - highly recommended as I am a slow responder to emails at times and Mr. Brown has always been so nice and helpful and patient! I would recommend them as a top vendor on my best of lists!

Toby, I had the BBS-1 and had the same experience as you. I sold mine, and I now have the WR1-SB. I find the Wolfman is great for my face being efficient and smooth. I have it paired with a Triad handle -- the Tres Lobo  Biggrin
