Hello all,
Here for your future enjoyment should you wish to buy it is a Gillette, Bottom Dial (1-9,) F-4, Rhodium plated beauty.
Rare to begin with; they have become a must have for the serious collector or accumulator. This one is in very good condition after being re-plated and adjusted by Razor Emporium within the last year. It is a good shaver and with the right blade for your face can be an exquisite shaver. Only you can tell.
 Oh yes, price: USD $1,100

There is a rumor of a rarer one, with a 1-5 dial on the base.

Wishing you all well!

One question, since it has as stated been refurbed, does it still function like a truly mint Bottom Dial still?  I've had one replate, not necessarily from them, that came back a little gritty in the TTO mechanism?

Good Question! Quite smooth; I had done a thorough cleaning ahead of time. It came back smooth and adjusted to best even action across its range.

Holy Grail of gillettes. If you were ever looking now would be the time. Best of luck Richard although if you have a bottom dial in sure Lady Luck is on your side.

IMHO the collector value is diminished by the replate.

Well originals have sold on ebay for close to 1,900.00 so I think that was factored into the OPs price. Not going to derail a man's sale thread with razor discussion.  OP I meant no disrespect GLWTS
