How about this? Hey, I'm getting there. Will actually use it all up this autumn. (most of my soaps and creams are still 70-80% full).

Got any snaps of empties, or almost empties?

Now, this one doesn't qualify, but it's gonna get there.  Just give me a few more months.

When you've finished the baume.be show off the empty tub in the Product RIP thread Smile

I have never seen anything resembling that picture before. I wasn't sure it was even possible.

I have emptied a BAUME.BE container and it now holds a grated Arko stick.

I have also emptied my MWF ceramic container 4 or 5 times.  Don't have empty pictures as it is full of MWF again,

David - how many times would you estimate you used the product to get to this point.

I have decided to use one soap until it is gone and have been keeping count to see how long per ounce a soap lasts.

All product should be used up at least once. This will alert you to any that seem to 'run out of gas' with loss of scent or performance. I think SDLM insisting their pucks be allowed to dry has the right idea. A puck left with greater moisture may be self destructing over time.

Excellent question.

I really don't know.  All I could do is guess.  What I do know for certain is that I purchased it in early February, rotated it with several other soaps and creams, and used far more than was necessary for each shave because I always had a lot of lather left at the end.  I have modified that considerably, and now just use a little dab on my brush, and it still makes a wonderful, luxurious lather.

I will be purchasing another jar when this runs out, and I hope I get a whole lot of shaves, because it's quite expensive.

It would make a nice thread if we kept an accurate record of how many shaves we get out of a jar of cream.  Keeping a record certainly isn't difficult.  Trouble is, since some of us have, ahhhh, let's say, at least 2 soaps, well, OK, perhaps at least 3, it could be quite a while before we start posting our answers.

I knew a guy whose cousin worked with a guy whose brother had a neighbour who claimed he knew someone who finished a jar of shaving soap.  Can't verify the story, though.

I have a methodology for extending a puck that some may find SHOCKING. This is especially applicable for we overenthusiastic lather builders.
A. After the shave grasp the brush FIRMLY in one hand
B. With the other hand ROLL the index finger, thumb and palm into the base of the knot ( older military vets will recognize the classic grip of the 1911).
C. Firmly, but without a deathgrip hold SQUEEZE the knot whilst running the hand down to the tip.
D. Allow the perfectly good lather to return to the mother puck ( trekkies may recall ODO returning to the communal ocean).
E. Let dry overnight and it's ready for another go at being used.

Obviously there would be difference like creams, soft soaps, and hard soaps. What I am using is a Stirling soap that has the consistancy of many other soaps.

Considering it has only been two weeks - it won't be anytime soon that I will be posting an answer.
