This may have been the longest I waited for a package to arrive but it was sure worth the wait. Is this soap ever awesome! (use a smaller brush because the container is small!)

Ease of lathering: 10/10--Explodes into rich lather immediately.

Longevity of lather: 10/10--Fantastic. Perfect stability for multi-pass shaves.

General skincare: 9/10--Very gentle, comfortable as well as moisturizing.

Scent: 8/10--Mild, in fact very mild lavender which becomes more noticeable while lathering and shaving. Nice!

Price: 5/10--Had it been any other soap I would have said "no thanks." 22,00$ USD is pretty high, no?

Would I buy again: 9/10--Despite such a high price, yes I feel I would because I love this soap.

It's not often you hear about anything from Norway other than the Fitjar products, but here is something I would definitely recommend if you want to try something unique and unusual. Brutalt Bra (Brutally Good) soap has a mild, but very pleasant lavender scent, (to my nose) it lathers so easily and richly with a post-shave feeling which is relaxed and very comfortable. I just wish the damned price was lower and that the tin was bigger![Image: www.brutaltbra.com]

KISMET!  A newly arrived nieghbor from Norway visited San Pedro on my suggestion after hearing me outgun another nieghbor's rap music with a little Peer Gynt Mountain king music. There is a historic Norwegian
merchant mariner's church and deli/shop at the harbor. When a norwegian flagged ship comes in they play the national anthem on loudspeakers. He and wife returned with all kinds of viking foodstuffs, a needed antidote for homesickness and this soap for me. I used it this AM-slowly with two cracked elbows. It is a lovely soap; Perhaps you could post some pics for the others?

I need to revisit mine, once I find it.

Got mine from BullGoose Shaving last December.

Bullgoose stocks it- discounted because of that old dented metal container issue. I say again embrace predistressed tins. With this, let your inner Walter Mitty imagine vanquishing a Viking berserker lying at your feet with shattered bearded axe  and crushed helmet as you shave his yellow beard off.

I just tried this soap for the first time. It is out of this world. The scent, while extremely mild, is so pleasant. The lather was so thick and protective. I hope the soap maker never stops making it and I hope Bullgoose never discontinues it. This soap needs far more recognition than it gets, in my opinion.

San Pedro, CA? What's the name of the shop?

Paul, sadly, the soap was a one time offering after a merchant mariner gifted some. It's @ 5560 W Pico Blvd and easy to get to. You should still visit. The deli has great food and the nearby church holds services in Norwegian. It's a lot easier than the grueling trip north to Solvang Pancarta

I only asked because I lived in San Pedro for 10+ years.

I don't think of the trip to Solvang as grueling. I love that area. They make some good wine up there too!

I recently purchased this from Bullgoose, and this is a keeper. The post shave feel is phenomenal. All natural with just four ingredients. I find products that are simple like this are the best.

Glad to hear it. This is my #2 soap out of a collection of over 50. Just bought a backup tin myself, which I swore off doing some time ago.
