I picked up a tube of Proraso Blue, and I find it has almost no scent at all. Maybe my sense of smell is going. But I can smell Proraso Green and Red. They're nothing like TOBS sandalwood, but they do have a scent. Anyone agree?

Not a huge fan either, but performance of the blue - for me - is better than the other Proraso creams.

It's in fact an excellent cream.

But the scent....mehhhhh, I get a licorise note in the background....not a fan either

Proraso Blue has a red licorice candy faintness in the aroma.

I have always liked the sweetness of it's smell. Performance is nice as well. I want to try the soap in the blue when I can.

Yes, I can smell licorice also and do not find it offensive at all but nice for a change. I think it performs very well and prefer it to the other Proraso products. I think it is a bit of a sleeper in the Proraso line.

The scent is mild, but performance is great. Rivals the red for my favorite Proraso. At first I did not like the scent of blue, but after using it a few time, I have grown to like it. I think part of the reason is I associate the smell with an easy, trouble-free shave.

To the poster that mentioned a blue soap, I didn't think it was available.  I thought they only had blue cream and balm.

For me, it has a faint chemical-coconut smell, lurking somewhere in the background ... and I don't find it very appealing. But the lather is quite good, IMO.

I too can smell a bit of licorice and something else that I can't describe, I like the scent and performance of the blue, it's on par with the green and white.

I am almost positive I read somewhere that it is being released soon (blue in a tub) as well as a couple other new additions. If I remember where I saw it, I will let you guys know.

Proraso blue is one of my absolute favorite shaving creams. The smell is nothing to write home about, but the performance is stellar! Never liked the soap tubs compared to their creams anyway.

I must be in the minority, I love the cleanness of the smell and the performance.

It's my favorite of the line.

I like it.  Solid performer and the aroma is OK with me.  It's fallen out of my rotation lately, but it will be back in at some point.

Blue to me smelled like licorice or anise. Performance was nice as well.

Love green in the cream, but cannot take the smell of blue. Tried one shave, but I ended up rinsing off my face and starting over with green halfway through. To each his own.
