Hello gents, I found this in the wild, replated with nickel. But I'm having difficulty in reassembling it. Any hints are appreciated.

I found it in bits. The problem in reassembly is that the knob is reverse threaded, when you thread in the knob it pushes the doors up, if you fully thread the knob, the doors leave the baseplate.

Check the knob's position in each image.

I wonder if the razor has more than the 3 parts...perhaps something is missing or perhaps a spring.....??

When the razor is in the condition shown in your third photo, hold the head and turn the handle. You may need to re-peen the head if it feels loose when you are done.

It is pretty simple once the head pin meets the bottom knob properly.
Nice find. Those are awesome! I was SO excited when I got mine. Enjoy!

Nice thread. I have a #16 and I always wondered how to disassemble/assemble it.
