I've been thinking about picking up a new soap as well as a matching aftershave. I had their Instinct which I loved, but it's time for something new. Curious as to what opinions are on those two for those that have it.  I know I will like the soap, but I have not tried their aftershave yet.  Thanks for the help guys!!

I love black tie is more fragrant scent for me, almost elegant.
Baker street on the other hand is one that I could use everyday.
Both are very enjoyable but if I had to pick just one it would be the black tie

There is only one answer: you need both. They are so different, that it would be difficult to decide. As in the above post, I find the scent of Black Tie more appealing, but it's more of a cologne scent, something I'd use if I were shaving before going out in the evening. Baker street is more of a traditional scent, and more of a daily shave scent. If you like the performance of Strop Shoppe soaps, you can't go wrong with either one, and eventually you'll get the other.

I couldn't have said it better myself. This is my favorite artisan soap (tallow and lanolin formula) and my favorite two scents.

Baker Street is a good choice. My GF likes it. It pairs well with Canoe, but I may work up an order so I can try their AS's.

Just FYI both aftershaves are sold out. Jason emailed me to confirm.

I agree with Richard & Dave you need both but only the soaps are in stock at this time. No timeframe for new aftershaves.

Thanks for the update.  Hopefully they come back in stock before the end of the year, as I will be taking a 365 day sabbatical as of January 1st.

I prefer Baker St. If you like MW Irish Traveller, Baker St was very similar.

I haven't tried Black Tie, but Baker St is great and I doubt there are many people who wouldn't like it. A fantastic (and safe) choice!
