Hi guys, the gentlemen on another forum were saying that there is no way to protect an injector, whilst travelling....

Well, what do you think of my prototype....

Still drying out,and stretching the leather with Chicago Screws. Will replace those with 10mm HD press studs, when it has been stained, polished, and the edges treated. Will leave the inside untreated,so it will take care of any moisture from the razor.

Interesting and functional option IMO.  It looks like it will definitely protect the head.

Thanks for the input guys.According to others, the problem with injectors,is that they always have a blade in,so,when rattling around in a wash bag,the blade gets damaged.
I just had a spare afternoon,and a bit of spare leather,so.... Shy

Now just how neat is that.  You know the next question.  How do I get one?  Natural color (not stained) but water proofed. Smile

Thank you!.
I cant water proof one ATM without staining it,but I can offer them in black/brown,with a black inside, with a choice of silver, gold, antique brass, press studs....And they will be better than the one above too, cause that was just a quicky!....LOL!.

What DE?...It would probably be a totally custom fit,so let me know what you are looking for,and maybe I have one,to make the wet mould from...

Valid point... Merkur Open Comb would be my first choice, with Gillette Old Type as a close second (ie; the ones I use for traveling)

Brown with either gold or antique brass press studs.

No problem...PM me!,I am in the UK mind, I can make them relatively cheaply ($15,for a better version of the one above,or $25 for a custom job),but the postage to the US will probably cost what I would have to charge,to make one....
