I have a 1971 Gillette Super Speed dated R2. This one is in excellent user condition. Almost new-looking. Plastic handle is just about like new. I tried it and everything is fine with this razor. Great shaver. I am selling because I already have a '65 (my birth year) Flare tip and this one is redundant. Price is $15 plus shipping. - SOLD

Nice stuff, and great prices. They won't last long.

I removed the sold items: 1947 Super Speed ($20+shipping), Semogue 1305 ($15+shipping), La Toja Stick mashed into a Ziploc tub ($4+shipping).

1971 Gillette Super Speed remains.

Surprised this hasn't been snapped up already. It is a lovely piece of kit. One of my favourites.

Yes, this is a great inexpensive razor as are other old Gillettes. Maybe this one is waiting for its new owner born in 1971. I am not worried. My older son is 16 and is inevitably going to have to start shaving soon. He is totally stoked for DE wet shaving, so I am already putting together a kit for him. This razor may end up there if it does not sell. This thing is mint and almost looks like a time warp piece from the past.
