November 1st today. Good month everyone!

As they had announced, Pannacrema increased their prices and discontinued some  soaps of their classic line.

Now, Nuavia is priced 55E, not 40E like some of us had bought them. An increase of 37,5%! Νο comment.

Also, the Nostalgia, Lavandotto and Labdano were discontinued. I didn't like the scents of the others, but the Nostalgia was one of my favourites and I don't have a back up... Never mind.

The classic line is priced 13E, not 11E as we knew. Small price increase.

Disappointement.

That's one heck of an increase on the Nuàvia. If they believe they can justify it on the grounds that it receives rave reviews, then so be it. Personally, too many excellent soaps around to bow to their demands. It doesn't agree with me, anyway.

+1. It was on the fence for me at 40€, and now off the list at 55€.

A 2 Euro increase on an 11 Euro item is still an 18% increase. Retirees on fixed incomes, like myself, would even take a dim view of that. The 37.5% increase is just plain hilarious.

This is not uncommon in luxury goods.

Not really sure how I feel about this. I was on the fence about trying the Nuavia, but this news might have swayed me from trying it.

Poor move in my opinion.... But time will tell.

I believe they just pushed their product into another tier of consideration beyond some of the other luxury soaps when you factor in shipping to most of the rest of the world.

Again, time will tell.  I personally will not order at the increased price.  I would have tried Rossa at the old price.

Agreed, would love to try this stuff, but no way at these prices!

I have tried both. They are very good soaps, some of the best I have. But, they don't deserve 55 euros. In this price, you can buy 2 Le Pere Lucien, 200gr each! They don't defer a lot.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to support Pannacrema again, after this move. I am truely disappointed as a loyal customer of them.

The owner says that this soap is very expensive to produce products such as ADP or SMN manufacturing price is much cheaper.

Do not justify the price increase, but I think it is a very very good soap.

For example Boellis Panama just price 80/90 euros for a simple almond scent,  is unjustifiable IMO.

I disagreed with owner statement ,
If it's expensive to produce than he/she should have started out with right price to accommodate profits. All sudden he/she realized it's expensive to make and let's increased the cost .

Anyways so many other great soaps to buy.
Jabonman is my current favorite for 2x less half cost of Nuavia

Demand, demand, demand folks.  It is unfortunate, but they probably saw a window of opportunity with so many people buying it.

Fortunately I ordered Nuavia a few days ago due to the price increase news. It's clear that the owner is positioning this product as a luxury soap, so I understand the price increase.

And similarly I hope to see them walk this back after they notice a precipitous drop in sales...

If the costs are so high, they could have done a small increase in their prices, not 37,5%. That's way too much!
Also, maybe they could have considered to change their ceramic dishes to something less expensive.

Wish they rethink this move. Their products are very good but with this increase very few wet shavers will be able to buy them again. I am not one of those.
