I buy 90% of my fragrances at fragranceX, AllBeauty, Fragrancenet and ausliebezumduft.

How I make sure I get a real bottle, and not a fake and that the juice is fresh ?

I get sample from an official store. Wear the sample a couple of times, get to know the scent.
Then wear the discounted juice a couple of times, and then also compare them neck to neck, arm to arm.

So far all my 16 Creeds bought online at discont stores have been dead on the Creed samples I bought at an official store.

The same with my 18 Bond No. 9's and most of my Acuqa di Parma frags (9/10 full bottles bought at discount stores)
All my 8 100 ml Amouage bottles are bought at FragranceX, and are dead on match to the original.

All my Tom Fords are bought as decants from 2 Youtube reviews (MY Mickers Dan and Fragrance Bros) and are dead on.

My 6 By Killians are bought at the official By Killian boutique, but since my 450-500 bottles are cramped together in big drawers, presentation is not important to me, so I have bought the 50 ml decants and some quality glas spray flasks.

My 7 Xerjoff are all bought at the official Xerjoff store, but a tip is to buy the 15 ml tester set from each collection, and that way save a lot and get the real juice.

Out of my 450-500 full bottles, I think 30-40 of them are decants 50-75 ml flasks.

Just a tip on how to get niche fragrances at lower prices and still feel safe that you are not getting fake juice.

I just discovered ausliebezumduft literally this afternoon and picked up two bottles of Xerjoff at almost 1/2 off what I would pay at luckyscent or twisted lily. This site has the added bonus of the removal of VAT for non-EU customers and free shipping for purchases over €300. And they have literally everything under the sun in terms of niche perfume. All of my future purchases will be made there.

Claus, your advice is excellent.

Great advice - Thanks!

I have been using fragranceX and Fragrancenet.  Everything seemed great, but having read some comments about Creed being better in stores have bought the last 2 big bottles at Neimans.  I need to revise this strategy ... fast.

I never use discounters personally. After getting burned a couple of times with dud Creeds, I figured I'd rather pay official retail. That said, I pay official European retail and purchase from places like First in Fragrance and Essenza Nobile. Official retail is a must for me since I prefer risk free transactions, but I also like to save money. European retailers are the best compromise if you live in the US.

I have ordered from them with dubious shipping results.

I've also used Fragrancenet with good results. Prices are usually the best of any discounter.

Essenza Nobile is where my next fragrance purchase (Creed) will be.

I've had 3 very pleasant transactions with them in the past year. No issues with shipping to the East Coast USA.

Like Claus, I highly recommend them.

I've used ausliebezumduft more than half a dozen times and never had any issues with service, or packaging.

Thanks OP for passing along your feedback about the different discount fragrance sites. Perfect timing.
I recently placed an order directly from Penhaligon's for the four bottle men's sampler. I also placed an order for Blenheim Bouquet from Fragrancenet.
Obviously the price difference between Penhaligon's and the discount sites is quite substantial. In my case, $90 or $47 (after 25% coupon) for the 50ml bottle of Blenheim Bouquet EDT.
I just placed the orders so I don't have the product yet but your feedback has settled my mind.
Thanks!

Thanks for the comments on shipping.  That they ship surprises me (in a good way).

You are fortunate.  I've not found any fragrance worth buying at either store.(in several cities)  But I always look!
