I just acquired two vintage Ever-Ready handles from a friend. He was kind enough to remove the old knot and prep them. I put new knots in them, one from TGN and one from Whipped Dog. Here they are before, pre- bloom, and post-bloom shots. I shaved with them the past two mornings. They are both excellent face latherers.

Beautiful brushes, Bob!

I am thinking of restoring a vintage Gillette brush I own, maybe I have to order a knot from TGN like yours.

Lovely brushes. I particularly love the 50R.
Is the TGN Silvertip Premium worth the price, in your opinion? What's the backbone like? Is there any scritch?

They are both beautiful, but the 50R is stunning; and, it's just the right size for me. Sisi1

I have a TGN Silvertip "A" also. I prefer the Premium Silvertip. It has no scritch, but enough backbone to lather anything. I also have a TGN 2-Band Finest which is excellent.
