I changed the handle on my Ever-Ready 1914. Those familiar with the 1914 know this requires you to change the thread on the head. Then with a set screw you can use a standard modern handle. So I did not drill out the existing hole I just hand held the razor head and held the tap wrench in the other hand. It came out great.
If anyone who owns a ER 1914 and wants my old handle, just let me know and I will mail it to you.

If it's gets down to throwing it out, please don't. I can always use the parts (and I'll pay the shipping), but if someone declares that they need it then they should have it. My intent is to keep it from going into a landfill. While worth little, they are too valuable for that end.

Okay, I agree.  If no one else wants it, instead of me tossing it, you got it.
