I contacted Brad Sears inquiring about a Gonzo brush, and he agreed to make me one with a mixed faux horn/ivory build.

He send me this pic of the brush:

IMHO the handle is a looker and after some use, I can say it is very good performer. The knot is listed as finest but at 30/55 has less backbone than my 4125/4 Thater or my 26/54 Shavemac two band Silvertip. Still it has enough backbone to work hard soaps and the face feel is awesome.
This is the first ever Gonzo with that combination of materials, and possible will be added to the line up.

Here it is after a few uses

Thanks Eric.
What surprised me in a good way was the size of the handle, it is gigantic in diameter at about 60 mm height.
Feels super comfortable and easy t hold though.

I can't imagine a 30mm knot. I totally agree on the comfort it's one of my favorite handles.

The knot is Bulb shaped so it does not splay a lot, I have become accustomed to larger knots though.
