Any fans of Master's Bay Rum?  It's a little heavy on glycerin so it feels a tad sticky at first, but that goes away. Simple bay rum scent with little clove (I detect none, but some may -- could also be scent memory). I used to buy it at Sally's beauty supply for like 5.99 for 14oz -- that's not a typo. Sally's doesn't carry it anymore, but you can find it around the web and it's still affordable.  When I looked it up, the bottle looked different from mine, and I can't comment if they've changed the juice.

Anyone else use this?

I used to purchase it from the woman who cut my hair years ago, and really enjoyed it. I don't care for the scent of cloves, and don't remember it having any. I think it's a bargain, as it's a small fraction the cost of typical bay rum aftershaves.

Give Superior 70 a shot if you want a nice simple and inexpensive bay rum.

I haven't tried Masters but keep Superior 70 in the house. Nice, clean and a great value!

Benjamin's is also a clove free version of bay rum for little money.

Superior 70 is nice, the scent fades very quickly if that's what your after. Its rather basic almost like a which hazel but with a stronger burn. It doesn't get much cheaper, I found it at Walgreens for about $2.

I got a supply from PIF a month ago. I get strong clove from it. It's my current go-to instead of Pinaud's. Love the stuff. No label on the bottle indicating where it is from unfortunately.

There's a backwards old town that's often remembered. So many times that my memories are worn.
