So I decided to buy a finest brush to see what people loved about them.  I figured I made mistake by spending all of 35 dollars on one to try it out.  I am pleasantly surprised.

The brush feels great on the face, with very soft tips.  The bristles are densely packed, not chubby dense but still way more then I was expecting for the price.  The handle has some weight to it so it does feel good in my hand.  Whipped up a very nice quick lather and holds heat very well.

This may end up being a very expensive bargain brush as now I wonder what one of the high end brushes is like with as much as I like this one.  However, this brush may just be as good as some of the high end ones.  I would recommend the brush highly as it is a steal at the price.

I have considered purchasing an LS as well. I think it may be the same maker of Frank's Shaving (FS), but not certain on that. They appear to be high quality and have good reviews too.

I have the silvertip version and it is a great value.  I think it could stand either a bit more hair in the knot or a lower setting with either a more bulbous or flat shape as I am not a big fan of hybrids, but it is definitely worth a shot and I am actually contemplating trying the 2-band as well.
