Here is the 2nd of 3 razors I recently plated. I always like doing these Ducks. The one sticking point on this one was someone decided to monogram their initials with one of those vibrating engravers and put them on the shaft next to the stamp and on the tail. I worked them out without further damage , polished then plated the piece.

Very nicely done, sir.  Of course the blade and shank came out great, but I have to say I'm impressed with your pinning.  I say this because I just started pinning my own razors and know the skill and care necessary to get them that smooth.  A skill I'm working on, but have yet to attain.

Thanks,
I did plate two of these and i just noticed I had used one pick from the other razor. This one is a round point and the other is a square point. OOps.. Anyway thanks for the pinning compliment. On this one I kept the center pin in place and just did the hinge one. I also made my own smaller washers so it would look more "factory" than using the stock "0" type washers.

Superb job and great collection!

I've enjoyed only one shave with a DD..  It was on loan and has long since gone back to it's rightful owner.  Magnificent shave for sure.  I tend to lean towards the more utilitarian designs rather than the more ornate, but the beauty of the DD isn't lost on me!
