Thank you both, Gentlemen!

Shane, excellent work on this piece!
My face is still smooth as it's ever been 12 hours after the last shave. No irritation whatsoever.
Very happy with this!

I ordered the polished. It's sitting in customs. I'm anxiously awaiting.

The Blackbird is the best combination of closeness and smoothness I have found in a DE razor. The shaving angle is very intuitive, and the fit and finish of the machined finish are admirable; presentation box and insert are top-notch. I plan to buy one for both my sons when they begin shaving in a year or two. It's the only razor for which I would consider a duplicate.

Hi. I have problem. I want buy one premium razor, and I have three option.
Blackbird OC                       https://www.blacklandrazors.com/shop/cop...-open-comb
Timeless OC 0.95 gap
ATT Windsor mixed copper   https://www.abovethetie.com/products/win...ty-razor-1

I like little more aggressive razor. Now I have Rockwell 6S an Muhle R41. 6S my go to setting is 4 to 6. I like also my R41 twist, but sometimes its little hard for my face. I cant use sharper blades with it without weepers, but Voskhod and milder plade is ok. So my question is :

1. How  aggressive is all this three razor compare to 6S setting 5 and R41 ?
2. What is your pick and why ?

Thanks for your help .

I'll let others chime in on the comparisons, but please let me know if you have any specific questions about the Blackbird or our policies. Smile

The aggressiveness between the two is equal. But the sensation of the blade is more present with the OC.

I have the Blackbird OC, Timeless OC .95 and ATT H2 (but no Windsor). I find the Blackbird equal to the ATT in aggressiveness, and they are two of my absolute favorite DEs. The Timeless is milder on my face, yet also a nice razor for days when you want a more subtle feel of the blade.

1. I would compare my BB (OC and SB) to the Rockwell 6S L4 in aggressiveness, though both BBs are more efficient than my R6S
2. Simple enough for me: get both Blackbirds - OC and SB - in different finishes. Shave absolutely marvelously and look stunning. Each finish gives the razor different character. Like James Bond, depending on what he is wearing Smile

The black oxide OC has been out of stock for some time. Is there an ETA for its arrival?
