Hi Shane, good to see you here.

Can you give me the diameter of the handle at its thickest? I want to see if I can get a stand that's more in the line of an inkwell

An inkwell would be really cool. It's something I toyed with, but I think the larger diameter at the end of the handle may make it difficult to do well. I would love to see you pull it off, though!

The base of the handle is 8mm in diameter which quickly increases to 13mm and then back down to 11mm for the main shaft. The curved "neck" area is 15mm in diameter.

When I get back to my pc either tonight or tomorrow morning I'll get you a drawing with the dimensions.

How's this looking?

Shoot! I'm sorry. I just set an alarm on my phone to make sure I do this today. You'll have it by the end of the day.

Very interesting.

It looks like this razor has a steeper blade angle than most other stainless models which I find to shave better.

I don't like the looks of it as much and it looks heavy and bulky though.

Will keep my ear to the ground. Thanks for the review!

Sorry for the delay. Whipped this up. It should have all the relevant dimensions for stand. Shoot me a PM if you want another format or if this is too small(resized for the boards). Curious to see what you've got in mind! Can't wait.

Thanks! I wanted to design a razor that stands out from the crowd and is immediately recognizable while still providing a great shave. So many DE razors have the same generic shape with a curved top cap, rounded base plate, and a cylindrical knurled handle. There's nothing wrong with those design features, but it was a lot more fun breaking the mold.

Lol +1 to the volume. Excellent machinists, but not excellent DJs. I posted this over in the vendor corner, but I think it works here, too, since it's your thread.

I have that same set up but I adapted it with a blade and I actually get the machine to shave me by inserting my head into a device....after the shave I get rinsed down and a back massage.....quite cool and it only cost $1,000,000.00 but it included a bottle of high pressure after shave....check it out .....I bought it on E Bay Biggrin

Hey! Soap came out great. It has lavender, smoke, pine, and black amber. The lavender fades into a soft sweetness that balances out the crisp pine and subtle smoke. It's really a pleasant scent and very nice performing soap. The top caps are also starting up on the mill and are looking great.

I'll be posting a Kickstarter update in a couple of days when the in-laws head home. It will have photos and a more detailed report of the soap and production schedule.
