I have been using a Kent BK2 pure badger for a couple of years now. I recently acquired a silvertip. I don't know the brand because the part of the handle that probably had the brand name on it was missing. I had the handle repaired and I've started using it. I can't believe the difference. Face lathering--I haven't tried bowl lathering with it yet--is incredible. It builds lather very fast and the feel of the brush on the face can only be described as luxurious. Silvertips are certainly worth the money.

Well, my ignorance of shaving brushes would fill volumes. I have identified it, and it's not a silvertip at all. It's a Dalvey best badger. But I love it anyway.
