Are there any strong feelings out there about using (or not using) atomizers with AS splash?

Biggrin

I pour a bit into a cupped hand, rub together and wait for ignition!

For me, and this is my opinion only, but an atomizer defeats the purpose of an aftershave, for me.
They should be a splash. Aftershave is not cologne, and the scent is not the purpose of an aftershave. Again, for me.
I want to treat my face to sooth, disinfect, and help heal after the shave. I need to pour it out in my hand, and spread it on my face and neck with those hands.
My opinion.
I will not purchase an aftershave with an atomizer.

I've put all my AS that have bottles that can be opened in atomizers. (Floid, bay rum, pitralon, etc ....)

My Royall Lyme came with both options. I found the spray attachment annoying for aftershave use. I think the spray is better suited to a cologne.

Interesting... I only have some Royall Bay Rhum but it was just the bottle, no atomizer. Regardless, I agree with many others in that I like the "splash".

Do NOT put mine in an atomizer. They are splashes only. :-)

The splash is what I've done too but I just got some samples in spray bottles so I began to wonder where people stand on them.  I have to say that I kind of like the idea of a spray bottle for the super menthol formulas like Cryogen that are excruciating as a splash but a little spray is just right.

For me, a splash is just that. I only want atomizers on fragrances, not aftershaves.

I like excruciating menthol splashes. Smile
I add menthol crystals to most of mine to pump that stuff up!

:-) That's only with mine. It could throw the mix off and it could actually plug the atomizer.

Splash! aftershave and colognes.  After all I'm a man........but seriously I once knew a rep for a few top end fragrances and he told me the ones designed to be a splash were stronger. more staying power....sillage? more eo
