Just received these two beauties from fellow TSN member and brush maker Doug Korn. I was so impressed with the beehive that Doug made me a month or so back that I quickly contacted him to make a couple more.

The white pearl marble handled brush is in an Emperor style and sporting a Shavemac two band fan shaped knot set at 23x48 while the honey Amber and black one is a variation of Doug's D7 handle set at approximately 23.85x48 with the same Shavemac badger only in a bulb shape.

Thanks for looking, and a big thank you to Doug!

Those turned out well. I almost went with Doug's white Emperor/Chief style for my new Shavemac bulb but ended up reverting to the tried-and-true-but-modified D7 in ivory. I figured if I'm to be stuck in a rut, that's not a bad rut to be stuck in.

Thank you sir. I really don't think you could go wrong either way, I'm sure your brush will be awesome!

Thanks for all the compliments gents! I really think that the combination of Doug's handles with the Shavemac knots = the best of both worlds.  Thumbsup

Great brushes.   I have a D7 and it's one of my favorite custom handles.  This is the first Emperor style I've seen from Doug and it's quite nice.

Thanks, Ricardo. Doug did a great job with the Emperor style handle and it is quite comfortable in the hand.

Here is a quick shot of DK  next to my E2 for comparison.
