For those that have tried it, would you buy it again? I really like it and think it's one of the best performers out there but I'm not sure that I would spend the $74 for it. I got mine open box for $40. The smell is great and I've got the matching cologne but I feel like Icoloniali is pretty close in performance and only $18 for a refill puck.

I would replace it, but that's me Smile. But I do see your point.

This is a cream I will never be without. It can be had for less than $74 if one knows where to look, but even at full retail, I think it is worth it.

I've deemed it replaceable!
And I Coloniali will be replaced all the same.
Variety of luxury is why I do this thing.

I usually bring some when I go to Rome.  You can get it in Duty Free for about €48.00.

It really is a top notch product. I loved it. But I would not spend $70 (or even $50) on it.

Just one man's opinion. Utility in this sport varies a lot. YMMV and all that.

I would definitely replace it. It's one of the best (if not the best) cream I've ever tried.

Never having used it, I cannot speak directly to ADP, however nothing is irreplaceable. Even though I have owned expensive shave soaps, when I lather up Jabonman or Mike's or Vintage Williams, for that matter, I am reminded how many terrific shave soaps are out there that don't cost anywhere near $70, yet are high quality and provide a superior shaving experience. YMMV of course...

I have always understood that wet shaving is not cheap.  It could be done on the cheap and with relatively good inexpensive products, but is not a cheap lifestyle.

I just don't nickel and dime or really think about it, I just buy and use what I want.  It could be some Palmolive or some Adp.  It is all Rock & Roll to me.

Primo, get you some, is really good Smile

If you can afford it and if you enjoy it, why not?
Nonetheless, I would have to side with Primo on his comments regarding many inexpensive other soaps that work, so very well.

I may be a bit of an eccentric concerning wet-shaving, but I have always gravitated towards the more 'natural' and simple ingredients in soaps as they are applied to my skin, every morning.
As a result, since some of the more expensive, well-known or commercial  soaps/creams seem to have ingredients that I would rather not use, I stay away from them and AdP is one of them, even though I find it to be an excellent cream. Of course, YMMV. Shy

One of my favourite shaving agents, but not my personal number one, so I deem it replaceable. But, I easily understand how it could be irreplaceable to some gents!

I've replaced it and will continue to do so. $74 buys me about 6 months of luxurious shaves.

When I take my family out for Pizza it's $74. So value is relative. One night of pizza vs 6 months of luxury. It's a no-brainer for me.
