I've got a few vintage razors in my collection and thought I'd share a few here.  I collect mainly pre WWII and British Gillette's but have a few oddball razors as well.  Over the next month or two I'll post a few pictures every day or so.  I hope you enjoy as much as I do.

First up is one of my favorite razors.  My wife purchased this ABC set for me last year for my birthday.  This is a special set because not only does it have the original shipper but it is a gunmetal case in excellent condition.  Not many of this case survived in good condition.

This is a neat little peace more for the stamps on the shipper than anything.  It's a basic Norfolk set in gold but I love the fact that the person who gifted it sent it via post in just the original shipper and we can still see the Post Mark from 1937.[Image: 5hAwHxx.jpg]

And last for today, one of my favorite razors to shave with, a British Gillette Red Tip Rocket.  I believe this is one of the best shaving razors ever produced.  Just a wonderful medium aggressive shave.[Image: UqgoR7B.jpg]

Up on the docket tonight we have a few "Big Boy's".   First up is a Big Boy Deluxe in Chromium.   This one is neat because it has the original owners initials engraved in the case.   Makes you wonder who he was. [Image: N9LHpkW.jpg][Image: lVXPLCU.jpg]

And last for the night is one of my favorite pieces due to its provenance.   This piece came from the collection of the late Roy Johnson.   It is a Big Boy Hybrid.   These were put together with leftover parts and cases.   This one has the original shipper and appears unused.  Not many of this razor is found in good condition.   As you can see it isn't quite as long as the big fellow and differs in that it's complete head removes unlike the other Big Boy's and Big Fellow's. [Image: 1O6j5zH.jpg]

A couple of non Gillette razors today.   Both of these razors were made around 1907 and we're a different variation of the typical safety razor Gillette was selling.   The Ward was made by the family responsible for Montgomery Ward and was sold in their location.   [Image: QeGO9Gd.jpg][Image: aYiiEEp.jpg]

The Yale is very similar to the Ward.   It is basically a guarded shavette using a DE blade. [Image: l4ZBogr.jpg]

I love your gold BB. If it shaves anything like the Big Fellow, you will enjoy it immensely.

Both are very good shaves. I use a New Deluxe head quite a bit on a heavy UFO handle and it produces very similar results and let's me keep these beauties nice and clean.
