Just won an ebay of a tech in display box. I guess 1950s. has the aluminum handle and etched top plate. It has what the seller described as a cleaning tool for the razor in the box. Anyone ever heard of something like that?

its all metal. the only pic I have is in the ebay sales listing. the seller describes it as the original cleaning tool for the razor and I have never seen mention of something like that.

first picture is of the tool on its own, second its in the box next to the razor. Im skeptical of it, being a cleaning tool as ive neverf heard of such a thing. but I have to ask anyway.

Sellers don't know what they are talking about. They put a DE blade in a GEM 1912, put a Tech's baseplate upside down, and on and on...

and don't forget the seller that has a near mint 1918 military case, blade box, with a travel tech circa 1960s as the original set for over 100.

Is it I, or does that tool resemble a letter/envelope opener, fruit knife or wood-working instrument?! Biggrin
